🇨🇲Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper, André Onana hands 30 million CFA to Cameroon women league one side, Éclair

Cameroon and Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper, André Onana, has come to the aid of Cameroon Women league one side, Éclair FC of Sa’a.

According to reports from several media outlets in Cameroon, the 24_year_old, apart from the 30 million CFA envelope, has also offered an impressive stock of sporting equipment to the team.

News of the Onana’s gesture was first announced by Cameroonian sports Journalist, Joseph Valéry Fotso. He also disclosed that, following the Support from the shot stopper, the General manager of Éclair, Ricky Siani, is now nursing ambitions of setting up a male version of their team, in the near future.

Onana has always spend time with Éclair FC, while on holiday in the country

Éclair FC of Sa’a is one of the heavyweights in the Cameroon women top flight, and is noted for producing players for the various categories of the Cameroon women’s national selection.

Onana took to Twitter to declare his total Support for Éclair, with a message;

My Princesses of Éclair, you will never walk alone. All my support, Éclair ladies.

It is not the first time Onana has shown interest in Éclair. In fact he has repeated attended their training sessions and even trained with their goalkeepers, during his vacation in the country.

Players of Éclair show Support to Onana, following his 12 months ban by UEFA.

Though currently serving a 12 months ban from from football, Onana has kept on with his humanitarian works. He has maintained his class act, both on and off the pitch.

Éclair FC is currently ranked fourth in the Cameroon women’s league, with 13 points, after six rounds of games played.
