🇨🇲Guinness super League: Flora Kameni, Ghislaine Nkou scores two each, as Louves overpowers Vision sports

Ghislaine Nkou and Flora Kameni powered Louves to Victory, despite Mariane Inès' consolation

Louves minproff of Yaoundé have recorded a 4#1 win over Vision sports FC of Bamenda, in an advanced day six game of the Cameroon women’s super League, played at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo on Wednesday afternoon. A brace each from Ghislaine Nkou and Flora Kameni in the first and second half respectively, helped Louves regain the top spot on the League’s table.

Coach Festus Kuaban of Vision sports made just one change from the starting XI that played AWA FF last weekend, with Glory Fule starting in the place of Alvine Loraine Metchoum. On the side of Louves minproff, goalkeeper Ornelle Onomo started ahead of regular Ange Bawou, Kameni Flora was also back in the starting XI, while Charlene Meyong captain the team for the first time this season.

Ghislaine Nkou had a goal correctly ruled out for off-side at the sixth minute of the game, before Flora Kameni’s header went narrowly wide.

Vision sports’ Cassandra Forsuh picked up an injury at the 20th minute of play, and was replaced by Afozo Ngambong ingrid.

Ghislaine Nkou opened scores for Louves at the 22nd minute, when she beat goalkeeper Liliane Choumba at the near post, from a dead ball.

Louves minproff dominated play and Ghislaine Nkou grabbed her brace at the 38 minute, to put the defending Champions two goals up.

At the start of the second segment, coach Kpoumie Mvu Oudou of FAP brought in Mogai Djapa in the place of Dolores Tsadjia.

At the 50th minute, Alice Flora Kameni got off the mark for her first goal of the season, the third of the game for Louves minproff.

Kameni completed her brace at the 55th minute to make it 4#0 for Louves minproff.

Vision Sports’ defense woman, Mariane Inès, got the lone yellow card of the game, following a foul on Ghislaine Nkou.

Coach Festus Kuaban brought in Synthia Mafouo and Alvine Loraine Metchoum and it paid dividends at the 70th minute, when Synthia Mafouo set up Mariane Inès, who fired pass goalkeeper Ornelle Onomo of Louves minproff, to put the scores at 4#1

A more ambitious Vision sports FC tried hard in the last 20 minutes, but were far away from making a veritable come back.

The Victory means Louves minproff have temporarily gone top of the League’s table, with 16 points, why awaiting other day six games scheduled for Thursday and Saturday.
