A diehard fan of PWD Social football Club of Bamenda, Mr Tekum Bert_Destiny Ngufor, has come to the assistance of players of the defending Cameroon champions.
Mr Tekum has this Thursday April 29, 2021, offered three bags of rice, one cartoon of groundnut oil, plus a further 10 liters of groundnut oil, to the players, as his own sign of encouragement to the players, in their quest to defending their league title.
The food items were handed to the players shortly after their Thursday afternoon training session at the Big Mankon Catholic school field.
Talking about the motivation behind his gesture, Tekum said;
“PWD of Bamenda is a team that I have supported From childhood. The team has always been like a son without parents, but thanks to the able leadership of The teams President Pascal Abunde and Co who has revitalized the Team. Talking about where my motivation comes from, I am a football Lover and I belive in the fact that motivation delivers the expected outcome. So I follow the Theory of J.B Skinner that encourages motivation and support to get the Expected Outcome”.
Speaking on behalf of the players, Billy Samin said the food stuff will help them regain energy after training sessions, and make them well prepared for matches.
The Abakwa Boys recorded their first home win of the current campaign last weekend, over Eding Sport of the Lekie, and are currently preparing for match day 10 fixture, against Stade Renard of Melong.
