Cameroon Elite 1: 4 Reasons Why Coton Sport Of Garoua Is In Difficulties, Winless In Their Pass 8 Games.

The 2020 African Nation Championship ( CHAN ) that will be host by Cameroon in April, Has killed the ambition of certain Clubs in the Cameroon elite one Championship. Coton Sport of Garoua for example has been the most affected in the number of ways.

1. The Programming Of Matches.

This season has been the most challenging as concerns Match day Fixtures since they comes up twice every week ( Sunday And Wednesdays ), Thus making it difficult for a Club like Coton Sport of Garoua who happen to be the only Team in Cameroon elite one coming from the Northern part of the Country and had to travel miles to meet the other Clubs who are group in thesame Town in the Center , West , North West and South West ( Since Clubs From Littoral play their games in the South West ) part of the Country. That is Colombe, Canon, Avion, Ending , Tonnerre And Dragon All in the Center Region, And Bamboutos , Feutcheu , Fovu , Apajes , Stade Renard , Panthere And As Fortuna All in the Western Region While UMS and Union from Littoral but play their games in the South West Region. And then PWD and YOSA in the North west Region. This therefore means that a Club from the Center Region will play 5 away games ( No Travelling ) , A Club from the Western Region will play 6 away games at home ( No travelling ) , While Littoral and North west Clubs will play one away game ( Each ) at home ( No travelling ) . This gives a big advantage to this clubs looking at the close schedule of Match ( Twice a Week ) unlike Coton Sport of Garoua that need to travel miles every away game. And also the distance between the other regions like North West , South West , West and Center is not too disturbing ( Long ) Compare with the distance from Garoua to this other regions and back within one week is exhausive .

2. Not Using Their Regular Home Ground.

Over the years beating Coton Sport in Garoua is very difficult, They usually pick up maximum points playing at home at the Roumde Adjia Stadium which is under renovation for CHAN coming up in April . It is clear that the Coton Sport Complex is not the best for them loosing 3 this season at home ( Against Dragon , Panthere And Union ) and a good number of draws. The past 8 games for the Garoua side as been without a win with 4 of this games at home recording 2 defeat and 2 draws which is untraditionally for them.

3. Key Players in the Club in the CHAN Squad.

Some very important players in the Club Coton Sport of Garoua are regularly call up in Camp ( Amateur Lions ) in preparation for the up coming CHAN. This has no doubt disturb the strength of the Team. Their number one goalkeeper Omossala Simon and favourite defender Thomas Etta Bawak and Alphonse Marie Tientchen has all been irregular for the Club due to involvement in the CHAN preparation.

4. Their Head Coach Very Active In CHAN Preparation.

The head coach of the club ( Coton Sport ) Emmanuel Sango Ndoumbe Bosso before the beginning of this Football season was appointed as the Assistant Coach of the Amateur lions to prepare for the CHAN. Beyond every reasonable doubt Ndoumbe Bosso has not been 100% Focus on the ambition of the club and that explain why he was replaced at this later stage with Aboubakar Sulemanou the former Coach of Stade Renard Of Melong.

Cameroon: Joseph Bouasse Perfection Ex-Roma Academy Starlet Dies At The Age 21 From Heart Attack

Josehp Bouasse

Former Roma youngster Joseph Bouasse Perfection has passed away aged just 21, it has been confirmed. The Cameroonian young star who was part of the Serie A academy following a successful trial in 2016, suffered a heart attack and died on Sunday evening.

He never played for the first-team, he did train alongside the likes of Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti in Rome and He made his professional debut for Serie B side Vicenza while on loan from Roma in 2017.

Joseph Bouasse Story

Bouasse arrived in Italy at 16 alongside other child refugees from Cameroon, seeking a new life in Europe. He was approached by a man who promised him a career as a footballer, but when he arrived at Rome’s Termini Station he was abandoned and alone.

Bouasse, just a teenager a world away from his family, sought refuge at a local center. He was picked up by Liberi Nantes — Italy’s only team made up solely of refugees. There he began to enjoy himself and rediscovered his passion for life.

Bouasse was allegedly trafficked into Italy as a migrant back in 2015 before impressing then-boss Luciano Spalletti enough to earn a deal.

He left Roma in 2018 without making an appearance before joining Romanian side Universitatea Cluj earlier this year.
