Sulley Muntari declares South African league as next destination

Ex-Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari has authorized South Africa-based agent Sipho Shaven to look for a club for him in the PSL.

The 35-year-old has been without a club since leaving Spanish second-tier side Albacete in June, 2019 after a six-month loan spell.

His availability should alert big spenders Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United.

He has been training on his own and was recently linked with Hearts of Oak.

Shaven told “He has given me a mandate to talk to clubs in South Africa. He is very keen to play in the PSL next season

“I will be engaging with a few clubs in the next few days to see if there is a chance to bring him to South Africa next season.

“He is currently training with Liberty in his home country to keep himself fit. He is a free agent.”

GFA agrees to sign up 480 Women’s Premier League players on YEA program

The Ghana Football Association has agreed to sign up players in the Women’s Premier League on the Youth and Employment Agency program beginning this July, 2020.

Some of the players have confirmed an improvement in Women football this year, one of its kind which will motivate them to higher expectations in the coming years.

The players have described this initiative to be enough for players to provide most family necessities since women football has no gain from ticketing , its adequate to cover most expenses.

This initiative is aimed at about four hundred and eighty players, thus thirty players being registered to gain monthly salaries for six months. This is a big deal for Women football in Ghana following financial distress of most Women football clubs.

Women football is on the route of success with an increase in viewership as compared to many seasons before now. The interest of the public for Women football keeps gaining grounds and quite encouraging.

Manhyia  Palace  Unhappy  With  EX-CEO Of Kotoko

Manhyia Palace is not happy with the way George Amoako has handled the issue of his salaries in arrears, this issue has damaged the the reputation of the club and for that matter Manhyia.

He could have done that in a proper manner,it doesn’t augur well at all.

We are displeased with the way he has handled it,we are not happy with him. He could have written to Prof Lydia Nkansah- committee and it would have settled the issue.
