Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang becomes the first African Footballer to lift the FA cup as Captain.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang becomes the first African Footballer to lift the FA cup as Captain as Arsenal beat London rivals Chelsea 2-1 to lift their 14th FA cup title in their history.

After Chelsea took an early lead at the 6th minute by a Christian Pulisic, Arsenal were no where to be found in the first 25 minutes of play.

With the players returning to the pitch after the semi break, Aubameyang’s blistering break left Casar Azpilicueta trailing in his wake.

Though the 31 year-old striker made most of the contact, referee Antony Taylor pointed to the penalty spot based on the fact that Azpilicueta tugged on Aubameyang’s shoulder.

The Gabon international had to dispatch the penalty with ruthless efficiency to put the game all square at half time.

Upon return to the second stanza Aubameyang showed once again that he is a star as his skill and improvisation that proved to be the winner as he jinked past Kurt Zouma and clipped a fine left foot finish over Willy Caballero in the 67th minute.
