Indomitable lions coach, Antonio Conceicao has published a 32 man list ahead of the upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches against Malawi and Cote d’Ivoire in September.
The list consist of five goalkeeper, 10 defenders, eight midfielders and nine forwards.
Notable absentees include Fabrice Ondoa, who for the first time under Conceicao’s era, has been overlooked by the technical bench of the indomitable Lions.
Striker, Clinton Njie is also another absentee in the list. The striker has played a couple of games for his club, Dynamo Moscow both in preseason and in the league, and so many are of the opinion that he deserves a place in the list.
The lights of Simon Omossola, Epassy Devis, Efala Jean maintained their places, while the Ngapandouet Simon and Narcise Nlend got first call ups.
Former Coton Sport striker, Lambert Araina who just signed for Moroccan club, FAR Rabat also got his maiden call up in to the team, while Choupo Moting, Zambo, Kunde Malong, Michael Ngandeu, Fai Collins, Mbaizo, Castelletto and Harold Moukoudi maintained their places.
Cameroon host Malawi on September 1 and travel to Cote d’Ivoire on September 5 in their first two games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
