Antonio Conceicao summons 36 lions

The head coach of the indomitable Lions of Cameroon,  Antonio Conceicao has summoned 36 players ahead of the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in June.

Antonio Conceicao recorded his first defeat as coach of the indomitable Lions back in March,  and will be looking forward to get back to winning ways this time arround, when Cameroon play against Malawi and Cote d’Ivoire in the World Cup Qualifiers next month.

The French based players (Karl Toko Ekambi, Harold Moukoudi, Jean Charles Castelletto and others) who were absent during the March expedition have been recalled.

Captain Eric Choupo Moting whose absence during the last international window was characterized with lots of controversies, have also been recalled back into the team.

The lights of Fabrice Ondoa, Zambo, Omossola, Vincent Aboubakar amongst others maintained their places, while goalkeeper Devis Epassy and Jean Claude Billon get their first call ups.

Defender Meyapa Fongain of Fauvre Azur is the  only retained home based players,  while the lights of Man Ykre Dangmo and Haschou Kerrido were dropped.

Cameroon is in group D in the World Cup Qualifiers alongside Mozambique,  Malawi and Cote d’Ivoire.
