Ernestina Abambila has completed a move to Swedish Division 2 side Assi Idrottsförening, the midfielder confirmed on her Twitter account on Friday.

The former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies was unattached following a brief spell at Greek side, Aris Ladies Football Club after the 2018 U-20 World Cup in France which she featured for the Black Princesses in the Group Stage exit.

Abambila has represented Ghana in two Under FIFA World Cups; the 2016 in Papua New Guinea and France 2018.

The 20-year-old was the first Ghanaian to score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League when playing for FC Minsk against Slovenia side Ljubljana
