The Yellow and Mauves first choice goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi says he is joyful and excited for extending his stay with the Tarkwa-based topflight side.
The former Asante Kotoko SC shot stopper renewed his contract on Friday. His contract was due to elapse this season after signing a 3-year deal in January 2017.
The experienced goalkeeper penned a new 2-year deal with the club that will keep him till 2021.
Antwi, former U-20 goalie has been impressive manning the sticks for the Yellow and Mauves since joining them from Amidaus Professionals.
Speaking to MySoccer24.com he revealed how excited it is for him to pen down a new contract with the club.Saying, he didn’t find it difficult to make a up a decision when the offer came.
“Am very excited to extend my contract with this Medeama SC team. I didn’t have it had time in making up my decision to renew my contract because the club in terms of policies will help my career alot”.
“The club has been supportive to me from day one especially how they associate with me. Even the supporters, how they always stand by me made it easy to renew my contract. They’re very marvelous, a reason for my extension”, he said.

The 24-year-old goalie in the NC Special Competition made six (6) appearance for the Yellow and Mauves in the group stage, recording three (3) clean sheets along the line.
In the 2018/19 truncated league, he led Medeama SC to the top spot of the Ghana Premier League.
