Kariobangi Sharks welcomed the new AFC Leopards in rude and not so conforting way, the visitors who were yet to win a match at the Afraha Stadium, rewrote the history with a 2-0 win over their hosts AFC Leopards.
Two goals in the second half from Ghanian import Ebrahima Sanneh and Mathew Tayo were enough to add more woes to Leopards who went into the match heads high after a 15-1 thrashing of minnows Dero fc over the weekend in the Gotv tourney in a match that was played in Kisumu.
The win leaves Kariobangi Sharks on 4th place with 25 points after 15 matches, AFC Leopards on the other side dropped a further to position 13 with 16 points after 15 matches.
AFC Leopards shall next play 9th placed Bandari Fc in a must win match at the Mbaraki Stadium which has been labeled a fottress.
The coastal side has lost only one match at their home stadium and AFC Leopards shall be having a mountain to climb when they travel south.
