It’s a shame that this year we are not playing the African Cup.’ Aboudi, perhaps suggesting that if Cameroon had participated in the now cancelled Women’s 2020 AFCON, compatriot – Ajara would have grabbed the CAF Women’s Player Of The Year Award.

Valerenga’s 4-0 win over Arna Bjornar capped off a wonderful campaign for Ajara and co as they were crowned Champions.
Personally, the 2020 CAF Women’s Player of the year runner-up (Ajara), won the golden boot of the championship with 10 goals.
Of 18 league games, Valerenga picked a fair 38 points, 11 wins in the process, sharing the spoils in 5 and swallowing defeat in just two games.
