Mozambique vs Cameroon: Indomitable Lions extend unbeaten run to six matches under Antonio Conceicao.
Cameroon’s indomitable lions have extended their undefeated streak under coach, Antonio Conceicao as the Lions triumph over the Mambas 2-0 in Maputo, Mozambique in the ongoing AFCON qualifiers.
Goals from Vincent Aboubakar and Serge Tabekou were enough to seal a 2-0 win for the Indomitable Lions.
The win for Cameroon extends the team’s unbeaten record to six matches since Antonio Conceicao took over from Clarence Seedorf some 13 months ago.
The indomitable lions of Cameroon have now scored seven goals in 6 matches and have conceded just one goal in the process.
It should be noted that the lions scored six goals in the Mozambique double header, more than the number of goals the lions scored in their previous 8 matches including the four matches played in AFCON 2019.
With such improvement, many say the era of Antonio Conceicao might bring some positives going in to the future.
Cameroon tops group F with 10 points after 4 games played and their next real test will be away to Cape Verde in March next year.
