AFCON 2021: Mascot, MOLA To Begin Tour On December 9.

Barely 31 days to the kick off of the 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies Africa cup of nations,  the official tournament mascot,  MOLA will begin its tour in all ten regional capitals of Cameroon,  as from December 9,  2021. 

The mascot will begin in the political capital, Yaounde on December 9,   and will conclude its tour on December 22 in Bertoua, the Eastern Regional capital.

December 9: Yaounde

December 10: Ebolowa

December 11: Bamenda

December 12: Bafoussam

December 14: Douala

December 15: Buea/Limbe

December 18: Maroua

December 19: Garoua

December 21: Ngaoundere

December 22: Bertoua

It should be noted that MOLA means UNCLE, in the MOKPE language of the Bakweri people from Fako Division, South West Region of Cameroon.

The competition will begin on January 9 to February 6,  2022.
