The Atlas lions of Morocco are the latest team to step feet on Cameroon soil ahead of the 33rd edition of TotalEnergies Africa cup of nations.
The boys Vahid Halihodzic will be making only their 18th appearance in Africa’s premier football tournament.
Coach Vahid Halihodzic’s squad is made up three goalkeeper, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards.
However, there was a last minute reshufflement for Ahmed Redu who was replaced by Anas Znita.
A power house in Africa over the years but have tested glory in the tournament just ones and that was in 1976 where they defeated Guinea in the final.
With their triumph during last year’s African nations championship, this might just be the another avenue for the Moroccan to shine in the the biggest stage of them all.
It should be noted that, Morocco are the latest team to step feet on Cameroon soil, after Sudan and Ethiopia made their way in to the country earlier this week.
They are in group C alongside Ghana, Gabon and debutant Comoros islands and will play their matches at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde .
