Tunisia have beaten Nigeria 1-0 in their in their round of 16 clash of the 33rd edition of TotalEnergies Africa cup of nations to qualify for the quarter finals.
The Carthage Eagles who qualified as one of the third best place teams, got a surprising victory against Nigeria who were the only team with a 100% record in the group stage.
Al Arabi’s Youssef Msakni who has played just 10 minutes through out the tournament saw him score the only goal at 47th minute of the game to eliminate the three times African champions.
Things became worst for the super eagles as Everton’s Alex Iwobi saw red minutes after he was introduced in the game.
