Many took to social media to criticize the 50,000 seat capacity stadium with rumors that the laws are in a bad shape and was the reason why Ivory Coast and Algeria have not been able to win games because of the poor nature of the pitch
The local organizing committee chairman in charge of the stadium Governor Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua on Tuesday denounced rumors of matches in the Japoma Stadium transferred.
The Governor of litoral called for calm that everything will be fine before the Ivory Coast Vs Algeria as technicians are already working on the lawn to get it back to its normal status
The governor emphasized “the Japoma stadium has no problem as with any international stadium, after several matches, it is normal for the technicians in this to revisit the state of the pitch”
The Japoma Stadium has taken its normal shape after the technician in charge for the past two days have worked on the lawns to end the critics from media men and women who are bent to discredit the stadium and the tournament
