27_year_old Cameroon International Ajara Nchout Njoya, has announced that she is leaving her Norwegian club, Vålerenga.
The Indomitable lionesses Forward made the announcement on Monday evening on her official Instagram page, with a heartfelt message to her Vålerenga teammates.
“Valerenga, Thank you for these moments”, she wrote.
“We have spent two wonderful seasons with sad moments with the second place and the final lost last season, and moments of joy this season with the title of Champions, the Norwegian cup and the Golden shoe that I won. Thanks to my teammates and staff”, she added.
“Today, I leave Valerenga with a heart full of sadness to leave a family, but with a heart full of joy of an accomplished duty. To my Valerenga, my teammates, the staff, the management and the wonderful fans, thank you”, she concluded.
Ajara joined Valerenga in the 2018_2019 season from IL Sandviken. She quickly established herself as a key figure in the team, where she finished the 2019_2020 season as the League’s top scorer.
The former AS police, Sundsvalls DFF and WFC Rossiyanka Forward was on Monday received by the president of the Cameroon’s FA, Seidou Mboma Njoya, who congratulated her for her recent achievements.
No hint has been dropped on her next move, but many pundits are tipping her for a big move.
