Anicet Mbarga Foe appointed U17 lions head coach

Former Bamboutos FC of Mbouda’s coach, Anicet Mbarga Foe has been appointed head coach of Cameroon’s U17 lions.

The Experienced tactician who is currently head coach of Cameroon league one side, Astres of Douala, has been handed the job, following a communiqué from the Cameroon football federation, signed on November 11, 2020.

The former Eding Sport of Lekie coach will therefore take over the job that was previously held by Thomas Libih

Anicet Mbarga Foe is noted for his astute coaching style. He won the Cameroon League Championship with Eding Sport of Lekie in 2017, and help bring back Bamboutos FC of Mbouda to the league one Championship. It was a similar scenario, when he helped Astres of Douala regain their league one status, in the 2019_2020 season.

He will be assisted in the job, by Yerima Jean Claude, while Saidou Hamadjoda has been appointed Goalkeeper’s coach.

Nseme Alain will be in charge of the physical preparations, while former Indomitable lions, Nicolas Alnoudji has been appointed Team manager.

Renown sports Writer, Angu Lesley, has been handed the post of media Officer for the baby lionesses.
