Anthony Elanga Scores A Late Equalizer For Man United Against Atletico Madrid.

Anthony Elanga scores Manchester United's 500th European Cup/Champions league goal.

Potential Indomitable lions, Anthony Elanga scored a late equalizer to boost Manchester United’s chances of qualifying for the champions league quarter finals,  after a hard fought draw against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The 19-year-old benefited from a short pass from Portuguese Bruno Fernandes to score United’s equalizer.

Joao Felix had put the Spanish side in front to give the 2014 finalists a dream start to the game.

The defense of Manchester United led by Victor Lindelof looked vulnerable as Atletico almost double their advantage, but failed to capitalize.

Then the young star who replaced Marcus Rashford scored the equalizer for the red devils to boost their morale going into the second leg at Old Trafford in three weeks time.

Elanga became  Man United’s  fifth youngest player to score in the champions league after Wayne Rooney,  Mason Greenwood,  David Beckham and Phil Jones.

It should be noted that current coach of the national football team of Cameroon,  Antonio Conceicao have made his intentions to bring the 19-year-old to the lion den.


The young lad has played 12 matches in all competitions for Manchester United this season and has scored three goals.
