Asante Kotoko assistant coach Akakpo Patron is optimistic of his side’s chances ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup group stage campaign.

The Sudanese over the years due to the massive capital injection into the team have become a household name on the continent.

Many feel Kotoko will fall in Sudan but coach Patron thinks otherwise.

“This group is a good one. It is a favorable draw but then we have so much respect for our group opponents, Al-Hilal and the two Zambia clubs.” Akakpo Patron told FootballmadeinGhana.com.

“They (opponents) have been participating in Africa for sometime now. But we know Kotoko is bigger than all of them.” he added.
