AWCON2022 qualifiers: Cameroon edges The Central African Republic (0-1) with a late Ajara goal

Njoya Ajara saves Cameroon from an embarassing draw against Central African Repiblic as she scores the lone goal of the game at the 91st minute

The indomitable lionnesses of Cameroon difficulty outplayed the Central African Republic (0-1) at the Japoma stadium in Douala in a match counting for the second round of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The lone goal of the game was scored at the 91st minute by 28 years talisman Njoya Ajara who beautifully combined to put the ball in the back of the net.

Ajara paid tribute to the late Sultan of Bamouns that earned her a yellow card.

The indomitable lionnneses didn’t have much to offer in this game with an absence of game cohesion, imprecise passes and a lack of envy.

The reverse fixture will be played on the same venue come Sunday 24th October 2021 and some changes will eventually be seen in the starting line up on the side of the indomitable lions
