Azam Uganda Premier League: URA FC registers vital win

With the title almost certainly out of reach this season, URA fc needed a win to boost their confidence.

On paper wasn’t a good timing though as they faced a resilient Bright Stars fc which is known for frustrating it’s opposition with a conservative style of play.
URA fc started the most industrious side pushing for the early goal but Bright stars fc backline stood tall to thwart any threats from the tax collectors.
After the quarter hour mark however, Bright Stars started asking URA relentless questions and in the 23rd minute captain Nelson Ssenkatuka capitalised on defence lapse but shot wide.
Captain Nelly was at it once again when he stung URA second choice goal keeper with a thunderous shot in the 33rd minute which he parried for a corner.
URA made a forced substitution with the little magician Moses Seruyide coming on to replace the injured Julius Mutyaba but no team broke the deadlock heading into halftime.

The second half saw URA coming out of the blocks and in the 64th minute Said Kyeyune played in a decent angled cross from the right which was converted by URA fc playmaker Shafic Kagimu for the opener and lone goal of the game which ended 1-0.
