Benjamin Moukandjo Leaves Jiansung Suning Temporarily

For the second season running, 29 year old captain of the indomitable Lions of Cameroon, BENJAMIN MOUKANDJO BILE will serve in a new football surrounding.This was confirmed on Friday by sources close to the player after the attacking midfielder was loaned out by parent Club Jiansung Suning to Chinese Super league side Beijing Renhe.Jiansung Suning recruited Moukandjo last summer from French side FC Lorient.

The graduate of The Kadji Sports Academy who is now 29 has won 55 caps and scored 8 goals for Cameroon.
In February 2017 Benjamin was captain of the national team of Cameroon as the indomitable Lions won gold in Gabon with Benji taking home the man of the match award in the final.

Benjamin scored 7 goals in 10 appearances last season as the Jiansung battled against relegation in the Chinese super league.Many Cameroonians expect him to perform better at Renhe to improve Cameroon’s chance of defending their AFCON trophy on home soil in 2019.

Benjamin have already suffered the dreaded fate of top flight football relegation 3 times while he was in France,he felt the heat of a relegation battle again last season in China and now joins his second Chinese club on loan.

In a related development former Lions captain Stephane Etoundi Mbia has announced on his tweeter account that he is leaving Hebei China on mutual agreement after two years at the Chinese club.

without explaining the reason(s) for his decision.

“After two seasons, Hebei China Fortune and I have decided to end our collaboration by mutual consent. I would like to thank the club for this fantastic experience,” Mbia said wrote on his tweeter account on Thursday

”I wish the club and fans all the best for the 2018 season,”

The 31 year old won 60 senior international caps for Cameroon and scored on 4 ocassions. The former Olympique Marseille and Queens Park Rangers man won two successive Europa League trophies with Sevilla in 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 and played just a game under former Lions Coach Hugo Broos.

His decision comes just weeks after the Chinese super league club recruited Argentine Janvier Mascherano.
