This is the quintessence of the resolution of the extraordinary general assembly held this Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the CAF excellence Centre in Mbankomo.
As a reminder, an ultimatum had been given to the president of the LFPC, Mr Pierre Semengue to respect the decisions of the Cameroonian football federation FECAFOOT appointing a secretary general and a financial controller at the LFPC.
This decision was purely ignored by the den president who proceeded with an extraordinary General assembly to decide onthe kickoff of the Elite One championship. This, added to other misunderstandings forced the representatives of the association of elite clubs to precipitate the end of the League.
There were 18 club presidents to sit on. It was decided unanimously by the 18 members to dissolve the league. Fecafoot will take over in the further preparation and start of the professional championship for the 2020-2021 season.
Scheduled for October 31, 2020, Cameroon’s elite national championship is certainly going to be postponed to a later date.
