Lionel Agbor’s 80th minute goal helps Buea United to clinch a point against Catholic University SA in a day 9 match of the ongoing south west Regional Championship, played at the Molyko Omnisports Stadium.
The Mountain boys had a grip of the first ten minutes of the game, as they opened scores through an individual brilliance from Ngembo, who put the boys of coach Agbor Emmanuel in front.
Being one goal down, the academicians did not loose hope, and with the presence of the President of the Catholic University Institute Buea, Professor Victor Julius Ngoh at the stands, the boys of coach Enownombi Brandon got their equalizer through their emblematic captain, Valerie Barker at the 23rd minute of play.
At this point, Catholic University SA took control of the game, with Njuma and co becoming nightmares for the defense of Buea United headed by Valentine Ayuk.
Thinks got worse for Buea United, as Njuma led a counter attack which put the defense of Buea United wanting, as he found Elias Sakwe who made no mistake to put the academicians in front.
Going into the interval, the game was 2-1 to Catholic University SA.
Upon resumption of the second half, Catholic University SA, had a chance to double their advantage, but Njuma’s shot went wide.

Buea United then picked up their pieces, as Star man, Lionel Agbor scored the much awaited equalizer for the Mountain boys. At 2-2, both teams tried to get the winner, but no avail.
The draw puts Buea United on 8points, 3 shy off Continental FA, while Catholic University have four points and are third in Pool B.
Catholic University SA play the University of Buea FC, while the much awaited game will see Buea United take on Continental FA in the last and final playing day of the championship.
