The 2019/20 CAF Champions League final to be played at the Cairo international stadium will be played without the fans.
CAF announced on her official website earlier this week that, this year’s CAF Champions League Final between Al Ahly and Zamalek will be played behind closed doors.
This decision was reached after deliberations between the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Egyptian FA to play the final behind closed doors.
The reason why the decision was taken was to avoid the spread of COVID-19, which according to reports, the pandemic is on the rise in some regions around the world.
Zamalek will be looking for their sixth CAF Champions League crown since 2002 while rivals Al Ahly will be searching for their 9th crown in over a decade.
The final will take place on Friday November 27, 2020 at the Cairo international stadium at 9pm.
