Egypt’s giants Al Ahly have won the 2021 CAF Champions league final after beating Kaiser chiefs of South Africa 3-0 at the Mohammed V stadium in Morocco.
Kaiser chiefs becomes the third South African club to lose a champions league final to Al Ahly. Mamelodi Sundowns lost to Al Ahly in the 2001 final and Orlando Pirates also lost theirs in 2013 to same Al Ahly.
The game began with the first shot by Serbian forward, Samir Nurkovic who had his shot saved by Al Ahly goalkeeper, El Shenawy at the 16 th minute.
Al Ahly looked a better side afterwards, as they dominated possession, created chances; but could not break into the defense of Kaiser chiefs.
The boys of Stuart Baxter became more compact and conservative, with the hope of getting the red devils on a counter, but lack the creativity and Pace to deal with Al Ahly.
Calamity became real for Kaiser, as Happy Mashiane was shown a red card for a reckless tackle on Akram Tawfik at the brink of half time.
Being a man down, Kaiser Chiefs had a huge mountain to climb, as top scorer Mohammed Sherif scored the games opening goal at the 53 minute, making him the top scorer of the competition with six goals.
10 minutes later, things got worst for coach Stuart Baxter as the red devils doubled their lead through Mohammed Magdi and El Soulia who put the icing on the cake for Al Ahly at the 74 th minute.
It ended 3-0 to Al Ahly as they win their record 10 th champions league crown.
The win for Al Ahly is their 14th win against a south African club having played 23 times with 6 draws and 3 defeats, while for Kaiser chiefs, It is their third defeat to an Egyptian club in 6 occasion (1 win,2draws).

He is also the second most successful coach in the competition, with three titles, just one behind Portuguese coach Manuel Jose who has won it four times with Al Ahly.
