The preliminary rounds of the TotalEnergies Interclub 2021/22 season shall take place in Cairo, Egypt on Friday August 13, 2021.
According to cafonline.com, CAF member association have until Tuesday August 10 to submit their representatives so as to complete the final draw on Friday August 13.
Earlier this month, the confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the calender of the new 2021/2022 football season in the continent, which is to begin on September 10, 2021.
It should be noted that the 12 best-placed MAs in the CAF rankings will produce two representatives in the two Interclub Competitions. These countries are South Africa, Algeria, Angola, Dr Congo, Egypt, Guinea, Morocco, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia and Zambia.
Last season, Al Ahly of Egypt defeated Kaiser chiefs in the champions league final to win their record 10th crown, while Raja Casablanca defeated JS Kabylie to lift their second Confederation Cup in three years.
