CAF WCQ Qatar 2022: Date For Final Round Draw Now Known.

The draw final phase of  the ungoing FIFA World Cup Qualifiers have been announced to take place on January 22,  2022 in Cameroon. 

The decision was taken during the 13th  CAF extraordinary  General Assembly, which is currently taking place in Cairo,  Egypt.

According to CAF,  the final draw will be done after all group stage matches of the upcoming AFCON, which may affect the rankings of the nations involved in the play offs.

However,  the draw will see the top five teams base on the rankings of the month January, placed in Pot 1, while the second five best teams will be placed in Pot 2.

The indomitable lions of Cameroon will be joined by Algeria,  Senegal,  Nigeria,  Mali,  Egypt,  Dr Congo,  Tunisia,  Morocco and Ghana.

The matches will be played in two legs, with the aggregate winners to qualify for Qatar 2022.
