Cameroon’s lone representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, cotonsport of Garoua, will face AS SONIDEP of Niger, in the second Preliminary round. This following the draw that were on Friday afternoon.
The cotonnites qualified for this round after dispatching Zambians, Green Eagles 3#0 on aggregate. But now coach Aboubakar Souleymanou and his boys will have a tricky tie against Association Sportive de la Société Nigérienne des Produits Pétroliers (AS SONIDEP of Niger), just fresh from the CAF champions.
AS SONIDEP was knocked out of the CAF champions league, by defending Champions, Al Ahly 5#0 on aggregate.
The first leg of the game will be played on February 14, while the second leg is scheduled for February 21, 2021.
