It’s on May 8th 2018 that Albert Charlemagne Mbongo came to the rescue of Colombe of the Dja and Lobo FC which was literarily  agonizing in the relegation zone (ranked 17th). The former Bamboutos of Mbouda coach took the bulls by the horn and succeeded in putting the team together to finsih 14th at the end of the 2018 season.

He will be designated best coach of the 6th day of the 2017/2018 season.

Suspended for 3 months for a heavy fault , all the indicators show that he is at the beginning of his end within the club. His performance on the bench as head coach of Colombe remains laudatory with 24 matches played for 9 wins, 12 draws and only 3 defeats in the league 1 championship.
