Cameroon Gains 4 Places In The FIFA Rankings For September.

The indomitable lions of Cameroon have gained four places in the FIFA Coca-Cola Rankings for the month of September published today October 21, 2021. 

The lions had a brilliant performance in their double header against Mozambique in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers earlier this month.

Coach Conceicao and his troops had a 4-1 aggregate score against the mambas of Mozambique, as the continue to keep pace with the elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in group D of ongoing FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Following the brilliant outing,  the lions moved from 58th to 54th in the rankings, but their position in the African rankings did not change as they stayed at the 9th spot.

The Taranga Lions of Senegal remain Africa’s number one ranked team, followed by Tunisia,  and Morocco to complete Africa’s top three.

4. Algeria

5. Nigeria

6. Egypt

7. Ghana

8. Ivory coast

9. Cameroon

10. Mali

Belgium remains the top ranked team in the world followed by Brazil and France.
