Cameroon League 1: Partial Round 7 Results, Goal Scorers, League chart, Top Facts as Eding Sports, Union & Astres Enjoy Away Wins

Round 7 games of Cameroon’s League 1 championship were played today with a domination of clubs from the city of Douala as Union beat APEJES, Astres overpower Fortuna and New Stars edging Tonnerre.

With 11 goal scored; 3 away wins, 2 home wins and 2 games ending in a draw, round 7 games will be completed come Tuesday when Coton Sport will welcome PWD in Garoua for the ultimate game of round 7.

  1. Unisport of Haut Nkam remains the only club that hasn’t scored a single goal since the kickoff of the season. With 4 nil draws and 2 defeats, the boys of coach Agbor Hans remain last in Group B.
  2. First win of the season for Eding Sport of la Lekie offered by Ako Assomo. The holder of the 2018 edition of the cup of Cameroon has reinforced its technical bench with the signing of coach David Pagou and this victory has permitted the club to leave the relegation zone.
  3. The game between Dragon vs Colombe offered fans the opportuntiy to witness the performance of 3 cameroonian U23 internationals (Serve Yvan Ekollo Malolo, Ignace Martial Biyidi Ekoudi from Dragon and Junior Bangda from Colombe) Ekollo Malolo and Junior Bangda offered a good show to the fans while Biyidi Ekoudi wasn’t in the best of his forms.
