The much awaited 2021 National Interpools gets on the way this weekend with the opening match to take place in Limbe.
This is a tournament played by regional league champions organized by FECAFOOT to get three teams who will ascend to the Country’s second tier championship.
The tournament this year will see two cities host the competition( Limbe and Bafoussam). This is the first time two host cities are co hosting the competition
The opening game will see EFBC Of Douala to play against Les FC de Ngaoundere at the Limbe Centenary Stadium at 1pm.
The second game will see Kohi of Maroua to play against FC Lausanne at 3pm in the same venue.
Pool B matches will come up in Bafoussam on Sunday September 19, 2021.
South West Regional flagbearers, Best Stars Academy of Limbe will be on Stand by on Match day one and will play their first game on September 22 against Rizierre FC of Tonga.
It should be noted that this is the first time since 2019 that this tournament is taking place. In that edition, Yafoot, Stade Bertoua, and Foncha street all gained promotion that year.
