Cameroon Vs Mozambique: Bassogog Spotted In Douala Already

AFCON 2017 MVP Christian Bassogog has been spotted already at Cameroon’s Economic capital, Douala, few days before camping begins, ahead of the Mozambique clash.

The speedster was spotted with Union Sportif of Douala starlet Jeremie Beboum in the early hours of Saturday 7.

Bassogog for some reason missed out on his team’s first leg, fight for 9 place – playoff game against Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super league.

Now 25, the former Aalborg BK winger is struggling for form for club and country. Bassogog has managed just a single goal in four appearances for club.

A couple of off – terrain issues looked to disstabilise the wing-man in the past few months. Bassogog was accused of threatening the life of a Journalist in his native Cameroon, during the start of the second part of the year. He further was tested positive for the raging Covid-19 on arrival to China, before the start of the season.

Christian Bassogog will look to put all these behind and play the exquisite stuff he is known for, when the Indomitable Lions open camp on November 9.

Cameroon pits Mozambique on Thursday November 12.

Bassogog will be looking to add to his tally of four goals, playing Infront of his home crowd on a special occasion for him.
