Cameroon vs Mozambique: Lions Take A Knee For Lost Lives In Kumba

While singing the Cameroon national anthem ‘O Cameroon,’ the indomitable Lions, in their AFCON qualifying game against Mozambique, all took a knee, for the kids who lost their lives in Kumba – last month.

Kumba is a metropolitan city in the Meme division of the south-west region of Cameroon.

The country received the shocking news of the killing of 8 infants by unidentified gunmen. Over 12 others were injured at the Mother Francisca Bilingual Academy, on October 24, 2020.

Since then, top personalities and institutions including the likes of Mbappe Kylian, Stephane Mbiah amongst others.

The match ended in favour of Cameroon as they went on to win 4-1
