Donlap Academy’s priceless gem – Ndedi Kegne Karl Junior is amongst the 33 chosen players to defend fatherland in the African Nations Championship.
The youngster is an all too familiar customer to these kind of tasks despite his youthfulness.

Ndedi’s talent overtime has earned him a place amongst elites: he was pre selected to the senior national team twice, under Hugo Bross and Clarence Seedorf respectively.
The 2016/17 Cameroon Cup winner with New Stars was equally handed the armband while playing for the Under-20 Lions, by current South Sudan coach – Ashu Besong.
Ndedi is yet to be given a proper chance by coach Martin Ndtongou Mpile.

The lad has shown unerring composure everywhere he has graced so far as per the beautiful game. In fact, the rock solid defender and his Donlap FC teammates defeated Cameroon first-tier side Bamboutos FC in a pre season tournament this year, due to the defender’s brilliance.

Going through a difficult patch where keeping clean sheets is an issue, it might be time for Ndedi Kegne to be handed a chance of his own.
The African Nations Championship is set to begin on Saturday January 16.
