Newly promoted elite two side, Rangers FC of Bafut have given a one year contract to Coach Anumewa Franklin according to the club’s official Facebook page.
This was done at the club headquarters in Bafut, where coach Anumewa has been charged to lead the club as it makes its debut season in the country’s second tier championship.
The former Foncha street gaffer faced the media after his contract signing as he announced the club recruitment which kicked off today in Saint Paul Field Nkwen.
Rangers FC of Bafut had an impressive performance during the Interpools, as they beat Rizerre de Tonga 2-0 in their opening game, and had a 0-0 draw with Best Stars Academy of Limbe in their last game to qualify for the elite two championship.
The gaffer is fast becoming a National Interpools specialist as this is his second club he is taking to the elite two championship. The first was in 2019 where he led Foncha street to elite football and did same with Rangers FC this season.
With a failure in his first adventure in the elite two, he will have to do his tatics well so as to maintain Rangers FC’s elite two status by the end of next season.
