Prisons FC of Buea started the new campaign on a high as they put six pass Cinyodev FA without reply in a day one clash of the South West Regional championship.
Prisons began the game as the better side as they knock the doors of Cinyodev FA in the first 20 minutes.
The doors were finally open as captain Mborong Collins scored a brilliant free kick at the 22nd minute to put the home boyz in front.
With the youthful Cinyodev side lacking experience in front of goal, the boys of coach Enang Severin got their second as Elonge Moki scored the second of the day to put Prisons 2 goals up at half-time.
Upon resumption of the Second half, the home boyz continue their search for more goals as Elonge Moki squandered some glaring chances at the early stages of the Second half.
Elonge finally scored his second at the 59 th minute to put Prisons 3 goals up.
Calamity strike Cinyodev as Tem Beng was shown a red card for committing a foul against the goalkeeper of prisons.
Mborong Collins also completed his brace at the 70 th minute to put Prisons 4 goals up.
Substitute Ekema Samuel came to score a brace at the 78th and 90th minutes respectively to seal a 6-0 win for the home boyz.
The defeat for Cinyodev FA means they have now recorded their first defeat in five regional league matches (3wins, 1 draw and one defeat).
The championship will resume after the African nations championship (CHAN).
