Coton sports receives huge blow after a 1-0 defeat to Eding in the title race

Christian Emmanuel Nguidjol, Cameroon’s U20 international offered the winning goal at the 38th minutes when his powerful strike beat goalkeeper Omossola from a twenty metres range.

Coton Sports had began the match with an upfront domination and several goal opportunities missed by Mahamat Harouna at closed range. Eding gradually came back into the game and took control of the ball after a frightful first quarter. Eding FC, the “lovers” from the Lekie then took full control of the important sequences of the match. CotoSports tried coming back in the second half but it’s one time domination became sterile till the referee sounded his final whistle.

This precious victory against the runner’s up puts Eding FC at six points clear ahead of Coton Sports and  the hopes of a title win rekindles in the hearts of the numerous fans of Eding FC.
