Canon Sportif of Yaounde will host Panthere Sportif of Nde at the CAF Excellent Center in Mbankomo in a day five encounter of the ongoing elite one football championship.

Match Preview. 

After their match day four clash against UMS of Loum was postponed, Canon of Yaounde will be looking for maximum points, when Panthere of Nde comes knocking. The boys of coach Birwe Mikreo have picked up 6 points this season from three matches recording 2wins against YOSA and Astre and 1 defeat to Apejes of Mfou. Meanwhile Panthere of Nde on the other hand have an impressive run of form this season with 3 wins and 1 defeat,  harvesting 9 points in the process.

Both teams have met a record 22 times with Canon having the lion share of wins with 8wins,  8draws and 6 defeats and with Canon scoring 24 goals and harvesting 32 points, while Panthere could only manage 21 goals and 26 points in the history of the tie. It should be noted that, Canon have lost just three times at home to Panthere (12 games played,  5 wins,  4 draws and 3 defeat).

Coach Birwe Mikreo will hope for players like Simon Mokette, Eyango Priso, and Gilles Enanombe to get all three points for his side. Also, former Astre man, Ngong A Tiati and Nicolas Abanda Koa will be on the spot light for Canon.

Panthere Sportif of Nde

David Lee Kokolome who is one of the top scorers, this season with 3 goals to his name, will have to give the defenders of Canon some little examination to write.

Ulrich Eteme is also another trait to Canon as he was instrumental in their match day three clash against Coton Sport,  where he scored a brace.

Canon is 4th in Pool A while Panthere occupies 1st spot in Pool A.
