Champions, PWD of Bamenda were held to 0-0 draw at home to relegation strugglers, Yafoot 2 at the Yong Sports Academy Arena. It should be noted that elite one trophy was presented to the fans of PWD before the game, but could not grap all three points against Yafoot.
Still in Pool A, AS Fortuna of Mfou completed their double over Eding Sports of the Lekie with a 4-0 win. As Fortuna now totals 22 points in 11 league matches so far, and now top Pool A with one point ahead of Fovu, who were losers to Stade Renard of Melong.
It was a bad day for YOSA as they suffered a 0-2 defeat to 4 time champions, Tonnerre of Yaoundé at the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium. Goalkeeper, Pierre Sylvian Abogo and Patrick Anaba Metogo were the scorers for TKC. It should be noted that, this is YOSA’s fifth away defeat in the league this season and are yet to record an away point.
Still in Pool B, Coton sports of Garoua suffered a shocking defeat to Apejes of Mfou. The Cotonites had chances to kill the game, but a second half goal from substitute, Christophe Toube was enough to see the 14 time champions walk out of the pitch with tails between their legs.
