Matches counting for day 9 of the ongoing elite one football championship will be played this weekend, with some mouth watering fixtures. The game between Colombe of Dja and Lobo and Coton Sport of Garoua have been postponed due to Coton Sport’s continental assignment.
Avion vs Fovu
After a 0-3 defeat to Eding on match day 8, Avion Academy will be looking forward to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Fovu of Baham. The boys of Olivier Nankam have been good in their last two games, having picked up four points in the process. With such performance from Fovu, this could be a tough task for coach Ndanbe David and his boys.
PWD vs Eding
After an impressive four points harvested from their last two outings, the Abakwa boys will host Eding at the YOSA arena this Sunday. The boys of Stephen Ndzana have also grabbed 4 points in their last two games. With such performance from both sides, coach David Pagou and coach Stephen Ndzana will have to get the best winning formula, so as to end the first phase on a positive note.
Apejes vs Tonnerre
With just one point behind Pool B leaders Canon, Apejes of Mfou will need nothing shot of a win when they host Tonnerre of Yaounde this Sunday. But with Tonnerre recording just two points from a possible 6 in the last two games, which put them two points above the relegation zone, they will have to give Apejes of Mfou a run for their money.
New Stars vs Canon
Canon of Yaounde seems to be having a good honey mood at the top of Pool B with 13 points, but the 10 times champions are yet to win an away game this season, and with a tricky trip to Douala against New Stars who are bottom of Pool B, the match could be difficult one for Canon of Yaounde.
UMS of Loum vs YOSA
After an impressive 4-0 win over Panthere of Nde on match day 7, Yong Sports Academy will be in search of their first away win of the season when they play away to UMS on Monday. Their Opponents, UMS have just two points from their last two games, but with just one point seperating the two teams, it promises to be a must win game for both teams.
