The boys of coach Birwe Mikreo have so far recorded one win in two outings this new campaign,  but in their last five elite one matches, the have picked up 10 points from a possible 15.

Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda

The yellow sub marines have so far played one league game this season and that was against last season’s runner up,  Coton Sport of Garoua, which they lost 2-0. Coach Martin Nkabyo and his boys were programmed to play against TKC on Match day one,  but TKC failed to present the COVID-19 test results of their players. Reasons why the match was not played. However,  the new date for the game is still to be announced.

Coach Martin Nkabyo and his boys had a recognizance session in Garoua.

Players To Watch

Canon Sportif of  Yaounde

After a 2-3 defeat to Apejes of Mfou on Match day two,  coach Birwe Mikreo will have to make amends when YOSA comes knocking.

Canon’s engine room operator,  Nicolas Abanda Nkoa will be the man to watch at the level of the midfield department.  His brilliant performance against was Astre on Match day one was second to known.

Former Astre Ngong A Tiati with one goal to his already, will also be on the spot light for Canon,  alongside side Simon Mokete and Eyongo Priso who scored Canon’s goals against Apejes.

Canon will be without left back,  Frank Tchoupe who was shown a red card against Apejes on Match day two.

Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda

Also from a defeat against Coton Sport of Garoua,  the Yellow Sub marines will be hoping to get their first win of the new campaign, this Sunday in Yaounde.

Coach Martin Nkabyo will have to hope on the likes of Ntui Brandon, and Agbor Emmanuel

Midfielders, Joel Etogue and Toni Ashu will have to do some physical battles against Canon’s Abanda Nicolas at the level of the midfield department.

Canon currently occupy the 6th spot in Pool B with 3 points in two games, while YOSA occupies the 10th spot with 0points from one game played.
