New Stars Vs Coton Sport Postponed

Cameroon’s first division football (Elite One) was on match-day seven over the weekend and some exciting results were recorded across various stadia in the country.

Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda made the headline as they clinch second home victory in style after defeating Panthere Du Nde by 4-0 to make it 2 wins after 6 games

The Abakwa boys after a slow start with just one win, three draws and one defeat proved their supremacy as champions with a 1-2 victory against Djiko Fc

Two games were programmed at the reunification stadium in Douala. The early games was between Union Sportive Douala and Avion Academy and surprisingly Union were humiliated by 0-4 by sister club Avion Academy. Meanwhile Les Astres Douala separated with a 1-1 draw with UMS Loum

The Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium witness the game between Apejes De Mfou and Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo and after a showpiece of football by both teams Apejes of Mfou carried the day with a 2-1 Victory meanwhile all eyes were on the game pitting Canon Sportive and Tonnerre Kalara club but what many had expected was not actually what happened as both teams shared a point with a goalless draw.

The game between New Stars of Douala and Coton Sport of Garoua was postponed due to Coton Sports involvement on the on going Caf Confederation Cup. Coton Sport plays against Js Kabylie on Matchday five in group B on Wednesday 21 April 2021 in Garoua.
