Reports in England say Merseyside club, Everton could plot a move for Cameroon international, Andre Zambo Anguissa.
According to footballtalk.org, the player still has two years in his current contract at Fulham and could cost Everton £ 25million if they are to get the player.
Fulham is on the verge of being relegated this season, but Zambo has distinguished himself as a reliable player despite the poor season from the cottagers.
Should Fulham be relegated, and with Everton showing interest in the player, he could remain in the English top flight.
On like Fulham who have had a poor season, Everton themselves have had a good season so far, and will need a midfielder like Zambo, as the club’s ambitions to qualify for the Europa league is loading, after a 1-0 win over West Ham at the weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti have had problems with his midfield this term. Midfielder, Abdoulaye Doucoure has been missed since he fractured his foot against Southampton. The lights of Andre Gomez, Jean Phillippe Gbami and Fabian Delph have all been inconsistent this season, as they struggle for fitness.
Can Zambo be An Added Plus To Everton?
The midfielder can be a good signing for Carlo Ancelotti. He is a reliable midfielder, with his good dribbling skills, his ability to protect the back, organize play, as well as moving forward.
A technical gifted player with 3 assists in 32 league games this season and also reliable in possession is going to be an added plus to the Merseyside next season, Should they sign the player.
Anguissa joint Fulham in 2018 but was loaned to Spanish outfit, Villarreal after the relegation of Fulham in 2019. His short term with Villarreal was excellent with over 23appearances for the Spanish side. He however, returned to Fulham last summer, following Fulham’s promotion to the elite division of English football.
With Everton eying Europe next football season, £25million should not be a problem getting Anguissa in the summer.
