Experienced Chadian forward en route to YOSA

28_year_old experienced Chadian left back, Djime Nam Leger, has left Yaoundé this Sunday morning and is on his way to Bamenda, where he will finalize his contract with league one side, Yong Sports Academy.

The TMS and the FIFA Connect systems in Cameroon were closed on Friday at midnight, signaling the end of the summer transfer window, with the next window scheduled to open only as from January 02, 2021.

MySoccer24.com understands that the club and player had already sorted out the deal, pending the arrival of the player. Our sources have revealed that the player has agreed a two years deal with the club.

YOSA had an impressive run in the 2019_2020 football season under coach Nkabyo Martin, and are now determined to battle for the League’s title in the upcoming campaign.

The team has already secured the services of experienced Midfielder, Joel Etogue and a host of youngsters. The coming of Djime Nam Leger will add more experience to their attack line, that has lost key elements from last season’s expedition, like the club’s top scorer last term, Tongua Armel and also Tegemo Emmanuel.

Djime Nam Leger had posted a video some weeks back, announcing is potentially move to YOSA, but now the deal is more than certain to happen.

Born in Ndjamena, Chad on October 2, 1992, Djime has played for a series of top club’s in Africa, such as Elect-Sport FC, Foullah Edifice, Missile FC (Gabon), Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi (Morocco), El Nasr (Egypt), As Coton(Chad), and Tourbillon FC N’Djamena.

He operates mainly as a left wing forward, but can also play as a Centre-Forward and
Second Striker. Djime has played both the CAF champions league and Confederation cup. He is also a full Chadian international.

YOSA has always found favor in Chadian players, who have never disappointed the club’s hierarchy. For the past two seasons, they have had Goalkeeper serge Diguel and Romeo Otodjebaye from Chad. Before them, was Goalkeeper Adoum Defallah, was is heavily linked with a possible return to the club.
