FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2018: Australia holds Cameroon in a 1-1 tie

In the second group B match played at Saint Petersburg Stadium in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Cameroon opened score at extra time of the first half (45+1) through Zambo Anguissa who realised a perfect lob over goalkeeper M. Ryan to give Cameroon the lead.
The Australians didn’t relent in effort and came back in the second half pushing upfront. Their efforts were paid off at the 60th minutes when with the assistance of the Video assistant referee (VAR), they earned a penalty. Mark Milligan scores for the equalizer.
Several efforts from the indomitable lions to break away were ruined by Vincent Aboubackar.
Both teams earn their first point of the tournament and will each look up to the clash between Germany and Chili their future opponents to have a taste of what awaits them.
