Former Cameroon international goal accountant Samuel Eto’o has been included in Real Madrid’s greatest academic XI according to Tribuna.com

Mysoccer24.com understands that Samuel Eto’o did not make his name with Real Madrid but rather with greatest rivals Barcelona but Tribuna.com is looking at Eto’o as a product of the Real Madrid’s academy and so deserves to be in the greatest XI of the academy.

Eto’o joined Real Madrid’s youth academy in 1997, though he never created any impact at the club as he played just 6 matches and scored no goal.

Eto’o only made his mark when he joined rivals Barcelona in August 2004 where he scored over 130 goals, 40 assists in some 199 appearances for the Catalan club.

Eto’o also won 1 Copa del Rey, two Supercopa del Espana, 3 la liga titles and two champions league crowns and winning the African player of the year a record four times, a record he shares with former Barcelona teammate Yaya Toure.

With all these stats, mysoccer24.com understands why Eto’o has been recognized as part of the greatest Real Madrid’s academy XI of all time according to Tribuna.
